website banter  [1]  [2]  [3]

David: no one knows what it's like to be the bad man
possibly: To be the sad man...
possibly: yo man
David: what's happening....
possibly: Tortured, trying to write, trying to decide
possibly: One part of me wants to freeze KungFu up and do something new
possibly: the other part wants to 3.0 the site, a combination attempt at art meets controlled minimalism
possibly: I think the problem is that I don't have the skills to go where I want to and I do want to do a bullshit in the middle site, nor do I want to continue on as I have in the past
David: fookin connection
possibly: dig it, did you get my last reply eh?
David: no man, re-send it
possibly: possibly: Tortured, trying to write, trying to decide
possibly: One part of me wants to freeze KungFu up and do something new
possibly: the other part wants to 3.0 the site, a combination attempt at art meets controlled minimalism
possibly: I think the problem is that I don't have the skills to go where I want to and I do want to do a bullshit in the middle site, nor do I want to continue on as I have in the past
David: what would you do if you did something new?
possibly: I got the basics in my mind, but I can't make a visual mock up that satisfies me yet
possibly: I want to do a intro screen of some sort, but i'm partially against that notion
David: would a run of guest editors help you feel Kung Fu again? You never did that
possibly: Yah it would, it would eh
possibly: Some time to ponder and get outside insight and advice. Definitely
David: dig, dig...
possibly: But the interface is simple, I'd change the site, so I could add a section for smaller commentary
possibly: Still haven't done that to my satisfaction
David: ah
possibly: my menu bar would be a pull down or a mouse over kinda high art deal
possibly: Much smaller, less then a quarter the size of the existing menu bar
David: I vote pull down
David: dig, dig
possibly: Yah, I've been thinking it
possibly: And then, new shit, added to new sections, would be the pull down shit, just the new shit, no pressure
David: ah so
possibly: To see all these sections I've built and added content to and have not added to "in awhile"
possibly: it just gets to be too much
David: Oh, I understand
possibly: Do you dig me
possibly: YOu'd still be able to hit a "full site menu" but it wouldn't be right on the front end
possibly: The front end would just be "the recent" shit and a pleasant simple interface, not so crowded
possibly: It tastes a bit crowded, not bad, but a bit crowded, every solution I create for a new way to write, becomes a new obligation.
possibly: And if i could just write for three days straight, twice a week, it probably wouldn't be a "huge" ordeal, but I write in spurts and the things that interest me enough to discuss them change with my exposure to new shit...
David: true, true
